The incidence of isolated pancreatic injury in blunt abdominal trauma is 3-12%. We present a case of a young male who presented with persistent epigastric pain and vomiting after a blunt abdominal trauma. He suffered an isolated pancreatic laceration which was confirmed by focused assessment with sonography for trauma (FAST) scan and contrast enhanced computerized tomogram (CECT). He was successfully managed with pancreatico-jejunostomy with a roux-en-Y loop preserving the pancreatic function without opting for a distal pancreatectomy
